A welcome note
So, you have installed the Yumbird app and ready to begin. Welcome and congratulations!
It all seemed easy enough – download the app, create your profile, build your menu and start offering your culinary masterpieces to consumers. But now you might actually have some questions or difficulties.
With help of our marketing director Julia Chigrin, I'm planning to write a series of articles intended to help you, the new Yumbird chef, to be successful on the platform.

Your Yumbird profile will be accessible to the consumers, so they can know you and build their trust in you. In the first release of the Yumbird app the profile is simple enough, providing necessary information to give consumers a peace of mind: your photo, your culinary interests, your kitchen, and your achievements.

Well, it is your kitchen, so it is up to you. Yumbird platform operates in accordance to US cottage food laws, which come different in different states (Forrager.com provides complete sate-by-state information).
In short, different states allow different types of homemade food to be sold to individuals. Usually the list includes baked goods (pies, cookies, breads, muffins, etc.), and some of the other food variety.
