Yumbird community manager is a face of Yumbird. Effective and flawless provider operations are the key to Yumbird success. The Community manager is the relationship keeper between Yumbird platform, home chefs, and the consumers.

Responsibilities:

 

Key responsibility of the Yumbird community manager is to identify and meet needs of Yumbird platform as well as of providers and consumers. 

 

Other responsibilities:

 

• Recruit, train, and onboard new home chefs onto the Yumbird platform

• Conduct marketing campaigns – social media, blogs, food groups, etc.

• Organize food network events.

• Identify needs of new providers in the specific area and report to the Yumbird development team.

• Identify the local law requirements for selling home-prepared food items (cottage food laws), and assist new Yumbird chefs in obtaining local government-issued licences.

• Create training materials for the chef onboarding process.

• Train and assist home chefs to be successful on Yumbird platform. The training program focuses on food safety, food preparation and packaging, and in general Yumbird working principles. 

• Provide customer support and answer questions, create content for the FAQs page

• Write blog posts about food safety, best practices, packaging, etc. 

• Perform spot inspections triggered by customer complain.

• Work closely with other Yumbird team members in marketing and operations.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.
